An editor suggested merging a bunch of the other Sonic templates to this one at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2023 June 10#Sonic the Hedgehog navigation boxes. Posting here for anyone who has this template watchlist but not any the others and may have missed this. (I can't be the only one.) Thanks.
Each game has a linked story (1), are platformers (2), Sonic is the main character (3), and they do not contradict each other (4). Sonic Rush and the Sonic Advance series belong in the main template because the first five conditions have been satisfied and SEGA has not otherwise designated them as being outside the main series.
I propose moving the "Related games" row, including Freedom Planet, Spark the Electric Jester and Spark the Electric Jester 2 entries, out of this template and to the "Related video games" row of Template:Sonic the Hedgehog. Reasons: The games are not fan games of Sonic the Hedgehog.
