Seesaw is a cover album of soul and blues [3] classics recorded by American singer Beth Hart and blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa in 2013. It follows up on the success of their initial collaboration for the Don't Explain cover album in 2011. Seesaw was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Blues Album of 2013. [4]
Hart wrote all songs herself, except for "Let's Get Together" (with Rune Westberg) and "Fat Man" (with Glen Burtnik). [26] The title track was released first followed by "Love Is a Lie", which is the official first single off the album. On January 26, 2018, Hart and Bonamassa released Black Coffee, again produced by Kevin Shirley.

Bonamassa and Hart each chose five songs for the album. [32] Some of Hart's favorite tracks on the album included, "For My Friend" by Bill Withers, and "Sinner's Prayer" by Ray Charles.
