English: Talk Pages are a student’s gateway to the Wikipedia community. Since, your students will use talk pages to interact with your course page and each other, as well as other Wikipedia editors, this handout addresses the technical aspects of how to find and use sustain basic etiquette on their talk pages or those of articles they’re written on.

The talk page associated with a page in another namespace is named by adding "talk" after the namespace label; for example, the talk page for Wikipedia:About is called Wikipedia talk:About. The name of the page should be the title of the book with appropriate capitalization. For some titles, it may be necessary to add a parenthetical statement to disambiguate the title. For example, if you’re creating the page for the book Nelson Mandela, the name of the Wikipedia page should be Nelson Mandela (book).
Most pages on Wikipedia have a Talk page behind it: articles, user pages, even sandbox pages. Click on the "Talk" or "Discussion" tab in the upper left corner of any page to access its talk page. Wikipedians assume you'll be reading messages left in user and article Talk pages, and you can use them to leave messages for others.
