Chang'an University (CHD; Chinese: 长安大学; pinyin: Cháng'ān Dàxué) is a public university located in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China.It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, and co-funded with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government.
He taught at Xi'an Institute of Engineering between 1997 and 2000. He was dean of the College of Geological Engineering and Geomatics, Chang’an University in 2000, and held that office until 2011. He has been dean of the School of Geology Engineering and Geomatics, Chang'an University since 2011.
Chang'an's layout influenced the city planning of several other Asian capitals for many years to come. Chang'an's walled and gated wards were much larger than conventional city blocks seen in modern cities, as the smallest ward had a surface area of 68 acres, and the largest ward had a surface area of 233 acres (0.94 km 2).
