Prince Hans' main motive is to become King of Arendelle. To do that, two things must happen first: He has to marry Princess Anna ('As heir, Elsa was preferable, of course, but no one was getting anywhere with her.' So he turned to Anna). Queen Elsa has to die. After Elsa flees Arendelle and Anna follows her Hans' plans are put on hold.
When Hans refuses to kiss Anna to thaw her Frozen heart he tells her the whole story of why he wanted her to marry him and what his plan for taking over the kingdom was. Later, when he meets Elsa on the frozen fjord during the snowstorm with the intention of killing her he lies to her about trying to save Anna.
In the Frozen movie, the only way to break Elsa's spell on Anna is by an act of true love, not necessarily romantic love. When Ana is left to die by Hans, it was Olaf who entered the room where she were, came close to Ana, starts a fire, and tried to comfort and help her. He was risking his own life just to be by her side.

Anna was brought to the Trolls by her parents to heal her. At that time Kristoff saw how the trolls healed Anna. Now when Anna was pursuing Elsa, she was again accidentally struck by Elsa with her ...
There is a great chart at the 3:45 mark which shows that Frozen would account for 25% of the total ticket sales if added to the combined total of the other films. Most other princesses come in at around 8% - 15% each. At the time they made that video, Frozen's merchandising sales were the 3rd largest behind Star Wars and Cars.
14. After the incident with Anna, her parents were scared of her powers going out of control and hurting someone. The troll king warned them of dire consequences if Elsa doesn't learn to control her powers: "Listen to me, Elsa, your power will only grow. There is beauty in it. But also great danger.
Hans and the Duke of Weaseltown (and his guards) can be excused because they are from somewhere else (presumably outside of Norway). Of the palace guards, maybe two of them have blonde hair, when really 5 out of 6 guards should be blonde haired based on statistics. A group of gawkers as the snow rolls in, not a blonde head among them.
