Bakhtawar (Urdu: بخت آور, lit. 'Fortunate') is a Pakistani drama television series directed by Shahid Shafaat and first broadcast on Hum TV from 17 July 2022. It is produced by Momina Duraid under banner MD Productions .
Bakhtawar Khan Mohammad, or simply Bakhtawar, (Persian: بختورخان ، محمد, born 1620 in Persia; died February 19, 1685, near Delhi) was a Persian historian, poet, official and later also personal advisor of the king at the court of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
She was the only child of Murad Khan Lashari, who named her Mai Bakhtawar, meaning 'fortunate woman'. [3] In 1898, Mai Bakhtawar married Wali Mohammad Lashari, who worked as a peasant in the lands of a landed aristocrat. [3] The couple had four children: Mohammad Khan, Lal Bukhsh, Mohammad Siddique and daughter Rasti.

Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls is the first girls' cadet college in Pakistan.Founded in 2010, it is jointly run by the Government of Sindh and the Pakistan Air Force. [1] [2] [3] The cadet college was established in 2010 and is named after Mai Bakhtawar Lashari Shaheed, the first woman to die in the history of peasant uprisings in Sindh in 1947.
