Old St. Patrick's Church was founded on Easter Sunday, April 12, 1846. The parish was originally housed in a wooden building at Randolph Street and Des Plaines Street. In the 1850s, the present church building was constructed of yellow Cream City brick from Milwaukee. [2]

St. Patrick High School is an all-boys college preparatory Catholic high school located in the Belmont-Cragin neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois. Opened in 1861, it is among the oldest continuously open high schools in the Chicago area.
Originally known as St. Mary's Training School for Boys, the facility was the vision of Chicago archbishop Patrick A. Feehan and served as an orphanage for many decades. Following a rebuild after a massive fire in 1899, St. Mary's new director, Reverend James Doran, opened the facility to girls in an effort to reunite orphaned brothers and sisters.

St. Patrick's Academy was a Catholic grammar school that was located in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1883 by the Sisters of Mercy. [1] St. Patrick's was located on the northwest corner of Oakley Avenue and Washington Boulevard. The school was across the street from St. Malachy's parish school. [2] The school closed in 1969. [3]
