Maybe the signal was furloughed. Weather can affect it a little bit. 3 always sucks for me. I have to move it around and reset the channels. Always seems weather related. It's possible they're doing tower maintenance and are airing from a temp tower. Ours has been fine but we are only a couple miles from the tower.

Meteorologist Matt Serwe (from KETV) dropping some knowledge on a crybaby via facebook. Matt "You just got" Serwe'd. Props to Matt for the well placed slap down. The TV stations go over and over this because that is their role in emergencies. The sirens are turned down so that you can only reliably hear them outside.

Listening to KETV Anthony pronouncing Nebraska cities. Tacumsee. I was only partially watching tonight, but I heard Bill snap at Anthony over something he said and it was kinda funny to see Bill ever so slightly lose his professional demeanor, but also sad for Anthony because he's really trying hard to be a great meteorologist. Ask-zar-been.
KETV 7 Omaha - Newswatch 7 Update with Carol Schrader and Ted Mullins (7-10-1981) One of the commercials touted Chevy financing at 6% below prime. Prime was 20% in July of 1981!!! That’s awesome. Where did you get your hands on this? I’ve been trying to find some archived local news videos.
Depending on where you are - some channels might be hard to receive. KETV, WOWT, KMTV and NETV (plus all their sub channels) are transmitted from the big towers at 72nd and military and generally are easy to pick up anywhere in Omaha. KPTM and KXVO are transmitted from Springfield. I couldn’t get those two stations without mounting in the attic.
