Enter: the photo I posted. This diagram was drawn up by my lovely GF; I just talked through what everything should look like. To make this, I borrowed off of the wiring diagrams for a standard 5-way switch equipped stratocaster, the American Performer Stratocaster, and the American Ultra Stratocaster. The diagram assumes that you're using a ...

07-20-2016, 09:43 AM. First time poster here but wanted to see if you good folks can take a look at my wiring diagram for a HHH Strat that I'm building and tell me if you see any issues. I'm using the Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker set (SH-2N and SH-4B) for the neck and bridge PUPs and a JB Jr single coil sized humbucker for the middle PUP.

So unless I hear otherwise in the next day or so, I plan on following this plan, as described by MikeS: 1. 01-19-2017, 12:56 PM. Stratocaster wiring proposal - Push/Pull pots. Really good mods. I would change the bride on to a bridge and neck together switch - attach one wire from the fiddle terminal to the bridge hit terminal on the selector and another wire from the down terminal to the hot terminal for the neck on the selector.
Use this diagram to wire each pickup for series/parallel, then wire the hot outs (the white coming off the bottom left lug) to a Tele 3-way switch. You'll get: P1 - Bridge humbucker series or parallel. P2 - bridge and neck pickups in parallel with eachother, but the individual pickups either series or parallel.
Coil Split Wiring. Take a wire and ground the switch portion of the pot to the metal bottom of the pot itself, then connect the two ground wires from the humbucker coils to the appropriate lug. Wire the Humbucker to the switch. Take the humbucker hot wire and solder it to the appropriate lug on the switch.
I can post a diagram for that if you're interested. But if you want to skip the 2 Phase approach, my recommendation would be to wire the Prail to the 5 way switch In Parallel, then have one Push Pull pot to split to just the P90 coil. If you want (since a Strat has 3 pots available), you could setup another pot to split to the Rail coil.
