Limon Bay. Coordinates: 9°20′N 79°56′W. Bahía Limón (Limón Bay) is a natural harbor located at the north end of the Panama Canal, west of the cities of Cristóbal and Colón. Ships waiting to enter the canal stay here, protected from storms by breakwaters.
History and campus. The school, named for Lemon Bay which is adjacent to the campus, opened in 1962 as an elementary school. In 1976, the school became a junior high school, serving grades seven to ten. The school added 11th and 12th grades in 1980/81 after new building was completed. The first graduating class of seniors was in 1981.
