    Microsoft Word includes the filters for Works versions 6 to 9., but depending on the Word version they might not be installed by default. Re-run Office setup and check.     Microsoft Works is very old software that hasn't been sold for years. It's not supported on Windows 10. That doesn't necessarily mean that it won't work at all on Windows 10. It means that Microsoft hasn't tested it on Windows 10 and hasn't continued to keep it up-to-date with all the changes to Windows over the years.
