The #1 thing that changed the soft tops on Jeeps were the now integrated rails to the body. No more screw down channel. The soft tops on a TJ are extremely quiet but thats the mounting design of it. Flap only comes when window is lowered or cracked open on a hard door. Or zipped window down on the half doir.

I opted for the thicker 30oz material instead of their 18-23oz material and it feels/looks very nice. Install was pretty painless once I figured out what goes where.
1. new gasket for where the top of the windshield meets the soft top. just a simple rubber tubing works. 2. mounting hardware to lock the softtop onto the windshield - easy to find. will show pics soon. 3. original mounting rails from your yj softtop or mounting rails from Tj softtop work with minor tweaks.- easy.
But its alot nicer than my $200 Rampage top. So if your thinking about sound deadening. I say go for it. The much quieter ride is well worth it. I'd say its a 60% reduction in cabin noise. Maybe more. Could be 65% to 70% reduction. Both from under the tub and just ambient noise all around you. I'm really amazed.
AZ Off-road & Performance have replied and say ‘ you need a factory style OEM bow structure. You will need the inner frame that is the same as what came on it from the factory’ . That was my thought.. no idea what top you had on previously as the existing hardware looks like a mix of a few manufactures.
Will a factory softop for a 03-06 fit on a 2000 wrangler. According to a part number search on Jeep OEM parts site the answer is will not fit. What changed in 03 to prevent the interchange.This would be factory frame hardware along with top. TIA
