Richard John Ridings (born 19 September 1958) is an English actor. He portrayed Alan Ashburn in the ITV television drama Fat Friends, Bernard Green in the BBC One comedy-drama Common as Muck, Mr. Bumble in the BBC series Dickensian, and is the voice of Daddy Pig in Peppa Pig.
She made her television debut in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders as Daisy, a role she would play from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, Smith began voicing the titular Peppa Pig on Channel 5, taking over the role from Harley Bird for the animated show's sixth series. Smith is the fourth actress to voice Peppa Pig.
