Prathivadhi Bhayankara Sreenivas (22 September 1928 – 14 April 2013) widely known as P. B. S. was an Indian playback singer, composer, harmonium player, Lyricist and poet known for his works in South cinema, and Bollywood.
Srinivas (7 November 1959) is an Indian playback singer and music composer. Best known for his work in Tamil films and all the other South Indian and Hindi language films, Srinivas has recorded over 3000 songs. Her duets with the acclaimed singers Ghantasala in Telugu, T. M. Soundararajan in Tamil and P. B. Srinivas in Kannada marked a new era of duet songs in the South Indian music industry.
In the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s her duets with P. B. Srinivas, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and with Dr. Rajkumar were some of the most romantic duets in the history of Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film music.
