Gondwana Private Game Reserve is a game reserve situated in the Garden Route of South Africa, near the town of Mossel Bay in the Western Cape.It was the first private game reserve to be developed along the southernmost coast of South Africa with the explicit intent of rewilding the wilderness and wildlife that previously thrived in the region prior to European colonization.

Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary is a former zoo at South Bank Parklands, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It operated from 1992 to 2005. There were about 700 animals at the sanctuary.
Gondwana, also known as Gondaranya, the land of Gondwana, is a region of India named after the Gondi people. The supercontinent, Gondwanaland, was named after the Gondwana region, because it contained some ancient fossil-bearing rock formations. [1] Since Gondi people are spread widely across central India, the region has no unambiguous boundary.
The demand reached its peak in the early 1950s, when Heera Singh founded the Bharatiya Gondwana Sangh to agitate for statehood.
