[2] The film was broadcast in syndication on various local and regional channels at different times from Friday, September 7 through Sunday, September 9, 1990.
TaleSpin is a perfect example of this... it's set in the 1930's, but takes inspiration from a number of outside sources, including Jules Verne novels, the Cold War of the 1980's, and the Disney film The Rocketeer (which in itself borrowed heavily from old science-fiction serials from the 1940's).
