Oakland County Football Club is an American soccer club based in Royal Oak, Michigan, located in the Detroit metropolitan area. Beginning with the 2020 season, they compete in USL League Two . The club previously competed in the United Premier Soccer League and Premier League of America.
The club was established in 1875, and reached their first cup final in 1891, losing to Clapton in the final of the Essex Senior Cup.In 1892 the club played host to Antwerp in the first match between an English team and a European team in England, with Harwich winning 11–0. [1]
ROHS is a 2006 consolidation of former intra-city rivals Royal Oak George A. Dondero High School and Royal Oak Clarence M. Kimball High School. [4]This educational facility draws its name from the original Royal Oak High School (later Clara Barton Junior High), which opened in 1914, and its successor, the "new" Royal Oak High School, which opened in 1927.
