The 1990 Peru State Bobcats football team was an American football team that represented Peru State College and won the national championship during the 1990 NAIA Division II football season. In their fifth season under head coach Tom Shea , the Bobcats compiled a 12–0–1 record.

Peru State College (Peru) is a public college in Peru, Nebraska, United States. It was founded by members of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1865, making it the first and oldest institution of higher education in Nebraska.
The 1961 Peru State Bobcats football team was an American football team that represented Peru State Teachers College (now known as Peru State College) as a member of the Nebraska College Conference (NCC) during the 1961 college football season.
The season was played from August to November 1990 and culminated in the 1990 NAIA Division II Football National Championship, played in Omaha, Nebraska, near the campus of Peru State College. [1] The Peru State Bobcats defeated two-time defending champion Westminster Titans in the championship game, 17–7, to win their first NAIA national title.
