Harwinton (/ ˈ h ɑːr w ɪ n t ə n / HAHR-win-tən) is a town in Litchfield County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 5,484 at the 2020 census . [ 2 ] The town is part of the Northwest Hills Planning Region .
