NJN News is a half-hour daily broadcast television news program by the New Jersey Network which also aired in New York City on WNET Monday through Friday. It was sometimes preempted on holidays by special programming. The program began in 1978 as New Jersey Nightly News, co-produced with WNET, although WNET also continued to air the newscast.

On June 6, 2011, the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority agreed to sell five FM stations in southern New Jersey to WHYY. The transaction was announced by Governor Chris Christie, as part of his long-term goal to end State-subsidized public broadcasting. Can someone advise the rest of us on creating such images? Most of the New Jersey pages already have images showing the municipalities location within its county, as well as an inset of the county's location within New jersey. A good source of historical maps is the Rutgers Collection. Maps published before 1923 are in the public domain in the US.
