P.L. Chaturvedi was an Indian academic who served as Chancellor of Central University of Haryana. [1] [2] He was previously the Vice Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Ajmer University. He was the father of Arun Chaturvedi who is the Social Justice and Empowerment Minister in Rajasthan.
The jurisdiction of the university extends to the courses being run in the areas of science, technology, engineering, pharmacy and management. Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, was established on 20 October 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana. It was formally inaugurated on 1 November 1995.
