Quicksand is an American post-hardcore band from New York City, founded in 1990. Their debut self-titled EP was followed by two major-label albums, Slip (1993) and Manic Compression (1995). Quicksand's sound has been compared to that of post-hardcore bands Fugazi and Helmet . [ 2 ]
The band's previous studio album, Interiors, was released on November 10, 2017 and was the band's first release since 1995's Manic Compression. In 2018, Quicksand released an EP titled Triptych Continuum on 12-inch vinyl for Record Store Day .
