Julia Montes is a Filipino actress of German descent who made her acting debut on television in 2001 in the drama series Sana ay Ikaw na Nga.The following years she made her first appearance in the soap opera in Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas (2003), Hiram (2004) and went on to appear in the television kids gag show Goin' Bulilit as a series regular until her departure in 2008.
She soon came to prominence by joining the children's sketch comedy gag show Goin' Bulilit in various skits and parody roles. [11] After graduating from Goin' Bulilit for three years, she was cast in the live-action fantasy series Kung Fu Kids (2008) as one of seven kids holding different personalities to be united by a prophecy.
She began her career as a child actress, debuting in the sketch comedy show Goin' Bulilit. She is best known for her portrayal as Marga Mondragon-Bartolome in the melodrama Kadenang Ginto.
