Leave It to Beaver is an American television situation comedy about an inquisitive and often naïve boy named Theodore "The Beaver" Cleaver (portrayed by Jerry Mathers) and his adventures at home, in school, and around his suburban neighborhood.
Beaver consults Eddie (who's taking Spanish in high school) about Spanish phrases. Eddie teaches Beaver an insulting phrase without revealing its meaning. When Beaver uses the phrase with his friend, the boy runs home crying. Chuey's parents come by wanting to know why their son was so upset. Beaver tells them what he said and they leave upset.
