The Redding Area Bus Authority, or RABA, is the operator of public transportation in Shasta County, California.RABA was formerly known as The Ride. RABA serves routes throughout the City of Redding and also provides transportation to/from Redding's suburbs. Transportation is also available by RABA to Burney, by Sage Stage to Alturas and by Trinity Transit to Weaverville. After procuring buses through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, intercity service between Weaverville and Willow Creek was increased to three days per week initially and a route between Weaverville and Redding began.
