Lake Forest High School, or LFHS, is a public four-year high school located in Lake Forest, Illinois, a North Shore suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States.It is the only school of Lake Forest Community High School District 115, [1] which serves the communities of Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Knollwood, [5] [6] and smaller parts of Mettawa and North Chicago.
The following is a list of Illinois High School Association member conferences.Schools that belong to these conferences compete with each other on a local level in athletics and non-athletic activities.
In addition to Lake Forest, the conference also welcomed Dundee-Crown and Mundelein that same year, taking the total number of schools to 10. Five schools would leave the conference in the late 1970s, Dundee in 1976, Barrington in 1977 and Crown, Crystal Lake and McHenry all exiting for the newly formed Fox Valley Conference in 1978.

Alan Paul Benes (born January 21, 1972) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball from 1995 to 2003 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers. He stood at 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) and weighed 215 pounds (98 kg).
