The Vüze, formerly known as Fenwick Place and Fenwick Tower, [1] is a residential apartment building in the south end of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. At 106 metres and 33 storeys in height, it was the tallest building in Atlantic Canada from its construction in 1971 until 2023.

Chocolate Lake is located in the Armdale neighbourhood of Halifax, Nova Scotia. [1] The lake is surrounded by many private homes as well as a Best Western hotel and a city beach. As one of the nearest freshwater lakes to Downtown Halifax, Chocolate Lake is popular with swimmers and families during the summer months.
[2] [3] Halifax merchant Joshua Mauger used the long beach which still bears his name as a base for a fishing operation in the 1750s and 1760s. [ 4 ] In the 1780s, the island was purchased by Peter McNab (d. 1799, buried at Old Burying Ground ), beginning a long settlement by generations of the McNab family on the island.
The park was the site of several small farms during the early settlement of Halifax. A rock outcropping at Black Rock Beach was used to gibbet the bodies of executed criminal such as the pirate Edward Jordan in 1809. Cambridge Battery is situated back from the Point Pleasant and Northwest Arm batteries along the shore.

Peggy's Cove is 43 kilometres (27 miles) southwest of Downtown Halifax and comprises one of the numerous small fishing communities located around the perimeter of the Chebucto Peninsula. The community is named after the cove of the same name, a name also shared with Peggy's Point, immediately to the east of the cove.
CKUL-FM (96.5 FM, 96.5 The Breeze) is a radio station serving Halifax, Nova Scotia.Owned by Stingray Group, it broadcasts a soft adult contemporary format. The station also airs Christmas music starting on the day after Remembrance Day to Boxing Day.
