It was originally launched in 2002. The site presents poetry from many countries in their original languages and in English translation.

Charles Wright (born August 25, 1935) is an American poet. He shared the National Book Award in 1983 for Country Music: Selected Early Poems [1] and won the Pulitzer Prize in 1998 for Black Zodiac. [2]
He was the co-founder of the literary journals To Dentro (1978), Nisos – Music and Poetry (1983) and Critique and Texts (1984). Since 1986 he has published the literary journal Planodion , while in April 2010 he created and has since run a website for short stories called Bonsai Stories.
