St Bernard's College is an independent Catholic secondary school for boys, located in the Melbourne suburb of Essendon West, Victoria, Australia.The college is named after its patron saint, Bernard of Clairvaux, and is a member of the Associated Catholic Colleges.
Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar is located on Leslie Road in Essendon, which is situated close to amenities such as Essendon Station. There is also a hall, named the Joan M Garde Cultural Centre, which houses dance and drama classrooms, private music rooms, a lecture theatre, changerooms, a stage, and sports offices.
The school is the product of an amalgamation of two schools, Penleigh Presbyterian Ladies' College and Essendon Grammar School, which was completed in 1977. Uniforms were different for boys and girls until term 3 2020 when a new combined school uniform was launched. The school's campuses are located in Essendon, Moonee Ponds and Keilor East.
The Essendon Campus is located in Essendon at 286-290 Buckley Street. This campus serves Year 10, 11 and 12 students, and features specialised facilities for VCE studies. Before becoming part of Essendon Keilor College in 1992 the school was called Essendon High School.

Rosehill Secondary College is situated on the border of Essendon West and Niddrie and sits on a site elevated high above Steele Creek, with views over the Maribyrnong River Valley. The school is a single campus with students from Years 7 to 12. The enrolment in 2014 is 1140. Girls and boys are about equal in number.
