Winger is an American heavy metal band formed in New York City, New York in 1987.Winger gained popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s with two platinum albums, Winger and In the Heart of the Young, along with charting singles "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak" and "Miles Away".
All three albums feature various members of Coopers previous tour bands. The Nightmare Returns tour featured lead guitarist Kane Roberts, rhythm guitarist Devlin 7, bassist Kip Winger, drummer Ken Mary and keyboardist Paul Horowitz (later known as Paul Taylor), this tour was recorded and released on a video of the same name.
