Since Guru Har Kishan stayed at Raja Jai Singh's Banglow (pronouned "bangla" in hindi and punjabi) which has now been converted to a gurudwara, now the gurudwara is called the Bangla Sahib to memorialise Guru Har Rai's stay here.
