The way to use that site is from the main page link I gave choose your series and denomination, 2004 and 20 in this case, and click on the link. It will then take you to a table of the star notes printed in a run. Find the reserve bank that yours was printed from, C or Philly for your note. Then scroll your cursor over the entries in that column.
I just found a 2017 $20 Star Note, ND00096931* in near uncirculated condition. I was told by someone that it was not worth much at all and to just spend it. Well I thought I would just look it up and found out that it is from a 160,000 run. Which to me sounds kinda rare but that does not really mean a whole lot to me.
Daggarjon said: ↑. Depends on the series date, district and condition of the note. A large part of a percieved value depends on the overall number printed as well. If there were only 320,000 notes printed, then yes, there is a premium for that note. On any generic note however, a serial number doesnt get low enough to fecth a premium based on ...
Irish2Ice Member. Hey everyone, I have 2 questions. First off I have a 2009 $20 star note, the letters and numbers printed on the note are "JF 02042647 *" and was wondering if this has any value. Secondly, if it's not worth anything besides the face value, what are the chances that years down the road it would end up being worth more and how ...
Your title asks what is a $20.00 star note worth but you have shown a picture of a normal $20.00 bill that is not a star note... I'm confused This is what a $20 star note should look like (not my currency)
Hello guys, pardon if i'm posting in the wrong section. I just want some information. Came across a $20 off centered note and the serial has a star on it. The serial number is EK00248556* and its a 2004 series. I don't know if all the $20 from this series are also off centered if I came across a rare one. Any information would help me out.

According to The Standard Guide To Small Size U.S. Paper Money 8th Edition - there were 3.2 million notes printed and in Choice Uncirculated CHCU - $50.
rlspears10 Member. Hello, I pulled a few hundred dollars from an ATM yesterday and found something unusual. 10 $20 notes, all consecutive serial number, and ALL star notes. They are Series 2006, IG 05945344* thru IG 05945353*. All are very crispy, no folds, lines, etc.
That looks like a series 1963 San Francisco star note. They printed 1.28 million of them. It's worth more than face, but it's hard to tell how much based on the picture. The book I have lists this particularly note as $150, however it only lists the value in a high uncirculated grade...basically crisp as if it was new. Which, this note is not.
Those notes might end up having some premium value some day to specialized collectors. But nothing will have a premium value *just* because it's from the SOI presses; after all, half of Series 2006 and all of Series 2009 have been printed on them. So the note in this thread is a relatively common $20 star in nice but circulated condition.
