The Godot 2D physics engine (not fixed FOR YEARS now) is one of the best examples that Godot future truly lacks in vision. Instead of polishing existing features and make Godot exceptional in things it's doing best (e.g. being a tool for smaller games), they keep adding and adding completely new features, pursuing after bigger and proven engines.
Anything you can do in Unity that is in Godot natively has C# implementation AFAIK. By that I mean everything in Godot has C# implementation and it is in the documentation. It just may be worded differently to fit the syntax differences of the engines. This also means you can connect a lot of C# plugins to Godot with the right engineering.
If only Godot had code linking so you could just click errors from the output and have it take you to the problem code. One of the biggest time-savers in Unity. Having to parse the horribly formatted text in Godot's output is one of my biggest peeves with it.

godot can run individual scenes Unfortunately this is mostly true for 2D and Godot3. In Godot4 when you try to run your 3D scenes individually, you will see shit, unless you also change the default environment for this exact purpose (often not desired) or add a custom script to add a custom environment and Lights.
