The Godot 2D physics engine (not fixed FOR YEARS now) is one of the best examples that Godot future truly lacks in vision. Instead of polishing existing features and make Godot exceptional in things it's doing best (e.g. being a tool for smaller games), they keep adding and adding completely new features, pursuing after bigger and proven engines.

godot can run individual scenes Unfortunately this is mostly true for 2D and Godot3. In Godot4 when you try to run your 3D scenes individually, you will see shit, unless you also change the default environment for this exact purpose (often not desired) or add a custom script to add a custom environment and Lights.

  10. Game 1 - P.W.A.T. (Pixel Weapons and Tactics), Godot v3.5. Top-down shooter that I wanted to make into a type of CQB thing. Like Ready or Not meets Onward, but pixelart. GitLab Repo. Video of what's implemented. Game 2 - ChessCom Tactics, Godot v4.1. Tactics type game that I wanted to base on Chess with some XCOM elements in it. This has less ...
