The other cities have been already listed and you should have a look at them, but imho all the cities are following a certain schema. So there are lots of similarities and in every place (main station, arcade, castle, ...) though there might be a special thing like Hiroshima, Himeji or Nara where the buildings are mesmerizing but the cities ...

Japan can't just spam colonies like Portugal, their cities should be connected. Another upside is that the samurai's placement at military tactics puts it along the upper lanes of the tech tree so important for science victories, so a science Japan doesn't need to endure a great detour from the techs it wants to access their UU (unlike science ...

  4. [Discussion] What are your top destinations in Japan and why?

Honorable mention : many places in Hakone and Izu (haven't been to one overlooking the sea, but soon !) Number one : Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku. 4 huge mixed-gender natural-looking black rock outdoor baths, along a river, in the forest. Especially in the snow. And it's relatively cheap, with great food.

So is Hakone if you like the mountains. Yokohama has a few interesting sights. All mentioned are good day trips from Tokyo. We did Hakone for 3 days between Tokyo and Kyoto - highly recommend! So worth the extra travel to get up in the mountains, and it was a nice break between exploring busy cities.

Up to date essential mods list and up to date JAPAN pack? Fellow builders! I just came back from a 4 week journey in Japan. I really want to make a Japanese city now. I looked at several collections and installed a few from steam profile: Ryuichi Kaminogi . Sadly, when loading a map, after a while, I get a CTD.

sprvlk. •. My second trip to Japan I went north to Aomori and Sapporo and all the way west to Hiroshima and Fukuoka. I fell in love with the Hakata ramen there. For my third trip I’m planning a Hokuriku Arch Pass itinerary to Kanazawa, Niigata, and hopefully see the opening of the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto.

You don’t need to return to Tokyo, you can book and “open jaw” or multi city ticket where it is one airline and ticket but multiple cities, most cost effective and time efficient option for sure, fly into Tokyo and out of fukuoka or Osaka. Check Expedia or Google flights for flight options then book ...

  10. Cities in Japan with best public transport other than Tokyo

    www.reddit.com/r/japan/comments/16uhaa0/cities_in_japan_with_best_public...

Sapporo is the capital of northern Japan, so the best of Japan's icy northern transit will be sitting there. Similarly, Kagoshima & Nagasaki are two major cities in Japan's south, so they're gonna have the best transit of that part as well. Kanagawa is pretty good as well, i'd reckon. Reply reply.
