I'm playing the PC game Per Aspera with Steam, and attempting to edit a save. When I opened a .save file in the SaveGames folder with Notepad++, the text had some recognizable words, but most of it is random unknown characters. Below is a sample of the text, and an image of what it looks like in Notepad++. The file has over 26,000 lines.

The reason that CoCEd and TiTsEd were the editor is that the adobe shockwave flash shared objects (the CoC and TiTs save format) are complicated and there are no standard libraries that existed to modify them. Therefore it required people with some programming chops to actually edit them without breaking everything.

So the way you do it on mobile is to select the Save option under To File on the right.
