well ok KBB doesn't make a blue book for boats so I'm told, and that NADA thing is just a waste of time ( the values are way too low ) :mad: I need to look up pricing on several different makes, models and years of boats thanks

I am looking at used boats *..Trying to find fair market values.. Nada values are VERY low (im my opinion). I dont see a used boat link on Kelly Blue Book.. Anyone know where I can find realistic retail values of used boats.. (* I am looking 18' Alum hull fishing boats w/walk thru windshield.. IE: Lund Tyee & G3.. w/outboard.

Re: Kelly Blue Book for boats? small boats are cheap..... cheaper in the winter..... without knowing year and looking it over 250 - 1700..... check craigslist and see what similar boats are priced at... then see which adds are deleted and which ones stay around.

I bought my boat a few years back for less than nada was quoting for any of its categories A lot depends on the time of year, how that model of boat sells in your geographical location and how motivated the seller is.

The condition is really what dictates the price. a 10 year old very well kept boat can sell for more than the same type of boat thats only a year or so old but was abused..

Before you even get to the point of a survey. I am looking at a 2013 Chris Craft Corsair 25. It’s for sale for $100k but the JD powers site says it’s worth between $62k-$71k. BUC says it’s worth $66.5k-$73k. Both of these numbers are with all of the equipment/options that I could check to match the listed boat, without a trailer.

Having said that, I would never buy a new boat. It takes time to find them, but boats in like new condition are sitting unused in dry racks and trailers everywhere. I bought my current boat when 2 years old with less than a 40 hours. The msrp on the boat at the time was $97k. I bought it for $40k.
