Colin Craig Hatchman (born 2 February 1975) is an Australian rock musician who joined The Screaming Jets as their drummer during 2001–2004. [1] In 2004 he joined Nathan Cavaleri in Dirty Skanks, Hatchman broke the Guinness Book of World Records as 'Loudest Drummer in the World' on 4 August 2006, the sound was measured at 137.2 dBA.
Frederick Colin Petersen [3] (24 March 1946 – 18 November 2024) was an Australian musician and actor. He played as a member of the bands Steve and the Board , the Bee Gees and Humpy Bong . In August 1969, he left the Bee Gees and he was replaced by Pentangle drummer Terry Cox to record the songs for their 1970 album Cucumber Castle .
AC/DC are an Australian rock band from Sydney. Formed in November 1973, the group originally consisted of vocalist Dave Evans, lead guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young (his older brother), bassist Larry Van Kriedt and drummer Colin Burgess.
McRae's stint in the band only lasted about a year, however, and by the time they recorded Activate in 1976 he had departed the band, as had longtime drummer, Tony Hicks. The band hired Adrian Tilbrook as a replacement on drums, [ 2 ] claiming they needed "a more hard-hitting drummer."
