"Wavin' Flag" is a song by Somali-Canadian artist K'naan from his album Troubadour (2009). The song was originally written for Somalia and aspirations of its people for freedom. The original single was a hit in Canada and reached number two on the Canadian Hot 100 as the second official single from the album, after the single " ABCs ", a minor hit.

Hymn Sing was a Canadian television series taped in Winnipeg, Manitoba, for CBC Television. [1] The program featured hymns, spirituals and inspirational music sung by a sixteen member choir. [ 2 ] The series was broadcast nationally on Sunday afternoons from October 3, 1965 to May 1995.
The album was released on September 23, 2003, and boasts a multitude of guest artists, including KRS-One, Phife Dawg, MC Supernatural, Planet Asia, FLII, John Legend, MC Lyte, Phil Da Agony and Tash, as well as fellow Black Eyed Peas Fergie and Taboo.
The song was re-released in September 2008 to coincide with their Mercury Music Prize nomination. The track can also be heard on E4 's Skins where it plays out the Franky episode from Series 5 as well as on an episode of Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ .
