  2. Replacement speakers - The Organ Forum

Given that several members have used car audio speakers in Conn Pipes, maybe that's a possibility. A guick google search for '6x9 8 ohm speaker' brought up some, here are a couple. With the advances in audio/speaker quality in the years since the organs were made, I'd guess there would be an improvement in the sound.

  5. conn 551 - The Organ Forum

Re: conn 551 The 551 has independent tone generators for each note and the Tibia and Banjo voices etc are totally separate. This makes me think you have keying problems on those notes. Good thing about this vintage of Conn is that it's all pretty straightforward electronics, but you're probably going to need a service manual more than exotic parts.

  7. Thomas Model 700 - The Organ Forum

Re: Thomas Model 700 A quick search on 'value' here will throw up dozens of threads with the same answer. Given the state of the home organ market - almost non-existent these days - the glut of old organs for sale, and the age of your Thomas (it's circa 1965), the realistic answer is that it's worth very little, perhaps zero.</p>
