There is a difference between a good tool you can rent for $150 and the lousy version of the same tool you can buy for $150. A hardwood flooring nailer is a good example. Install 2000 sq of hardwood with a crappy nailer you paid $150 for vs using a good Bosch tool you rented and you'll appreciate the difference. +1.
If I add 6 inches of insulation to my attic I can get $750 of ecoEnergy rebates. I got quotes from a couple of companies who offered to do it for $1050 (obviously aware I would be getting $750 of govt rebates). I went to Home Depot and I could buy the same cellulose insulation for $300 and get a rental insulation blower for free for 24 hours.

Their insurance won’t cover it, your insurance probably won’t cover it as well as it is a commercial use truck not personal car. Retired Forum Moderator February 2009 - June 2015.
