Re: Conversion of Mesh to mm. mesh is equal to the number of strands per inch. So for x mesh the distance between strands is 1/x inches, or 25.4/x millimeter. In your case, just divide 25.4 by the mesh and you get the distance between strands in millimeters. Though that is theory, in real life I believe they use an average size.
Re: Convert 25mm to inches what is it? 1 inch = 25.4 mm. 1 mm = .03937 in. If you have 100 mm and you need to convert, there are two ways to get answer: 100mm/25.4 = 3.937 inches. 100mm x .03937 = 3.937 inches. Steve. Flag. brmarek.
Re: Shotgun gauge conversion. Just on where (I believe) the original shotgun gauges came from: Take exactly 1Lb of lead. Divide it into (say) 12 equally heavy pieces, ie 1/12Lb each. Without removing any metal, roll one of the pieces into a perfect sphere.

Re: mm to inches Google metric drill bits. Plenty of places sell them. Buy the right size. Generally no inch-sized drill will give you the metric size you are looking for. A 1.5 mm drill lies between 3/64 and 1/16, or between #53 and #54 drill wire gauges. If you want a 1.5 mm hole, buy a 1.5 mm drill bit.
1000 µm = 1 mm. The 39.370079 figure is the approximate number of inches in a meter; however, it is a repeating decimal and it is better to multiply or divide by 25.4 mm/in as required. The following is predicated on 100 gauge = 1 mil. However, the word "gauge" has so many meanings, who knows?
The liters of rainfall measurement is actually liters/square meter (L/m 2 ). In traditional terms, 1 L/m 2 = 1 mm. 46 mm = 1.8 inch. So there has been 1.8 inches of rain in the last 6 days. Thats a good rain sure, but not impossible. For example, Seattle averages about 6 inches per month this time of year.
Plastic gauge is expressed in microns (abreviation um or mym) 1 um = 0.0254mm. If (as in USA) film thickness is 3mil (mm) then this is 3 divided by 0.0254 = 118.11um. As with most extrusion this is generally called 120um given manufacturing tolerance +/- 5%.
If 1 mm of rain falls on an area of 1 m², that is 1 liter, which has a mass of 1 kg. However, your measure is mm/h. 1 h = 3600 s, so you have to divide by 3600 to get mm/s. That will be numerically equivalent to 1 kg (or liter) per square meter per second. Flag.
