The 2024–25 Michigan Wolverines men's hockey team is the Wolverines' 103nd season of play. They represent the University of Michigan in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season . They are coached by Brandon Naurato , in his third year as head coach, and play their home games at Yost Ice Arena .
During the 2022–23 season, Michigan went 26–12–3, including 12–10–2 in Big Ten play.They won the 2023 Big Ten men's ice hockey tournament and received an automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament, where they reached their NCAA record 27th Frozen Four and were eliminated in the semifinals by eventual national champion Quinnipiac.
On April 24, 2017, Mel Pearson was announced as the new head coach at the University of Michigan. In his first season the team went 22-15-3 overall, 11-10-3 in Big Ten play. They reached the 2018 Big Ten Men's Ice Hockey Tournament but lost to Ohio State (3-2) in overtime.
