Yuyao (simplified Chinese: 余姚; traditional Chinese: 餘姚; pinyin: Yúyáo) is a county-level city in the northeast of Zhejiang province, China. It is under the jurisdiction of the sub-provincial city of Ningbo. It is located 40 km (25 mi) west of central Ningbo, 120 km (75 mi) east of Hangzhou, bordering Hangzhou Bay in the north.
