Jupiter Ascending is a 2015 space opera film [5] written, directed and co-produced by the Wachowskis.Starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis with Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne and Douglas Booth in supporting roles, the film is centered on Jupiter Jones (Kunis), an ordinary cleaning woman, and Caine Wise (Tatum), an interplanetary warrior who informs Jones that her destiny extends beyond Earth.

2010 follows a joint American and Soviet crew who are sent to Jupiter to discover the reason behind the failure of the Discovery One mission. The film stars Roy Scheider, Helen Mirren, Bob Balaban, and John Lithgow, along with Keir Dullea and Douglas Rain, stars of the previous film. The film was released in the United States on December 7, 1984.

The film is based on the 1959 short story " '—All You Zombies—' " by Robert A. Heinlein. [5] At one point in an internal monologue in the film, the narrator quotes the story title. On 14 May 2012, the Spierig brothers —who had already written a screenplay—were announced as the directors of Predestination . [ 6 ]
