Hello, I am an incoming first-year student at Rutgers EMSOP and I just received my financial aid package and much to my surprise, I didn’t receive much aid making it very costly. I was wondering if merit scholarships come out later and separate from aid? Also, wondering what qualifies a person to receive a scholarship and any tips about aid and scholarships? Thank You.

I feel as if I did something incorrect on my FAFSA because my parents and I cannot afford paying $28,000 a year when they have a combined income of S64,000.
