   Re: Need alternator help! Update: Picked up new alternator on Sunday morning and the removal of the old one and installing the new one took a little over 35 minutes. This was as straight forward as it gets. Unhook battery, remove belt, unplug, unbolt, replace and repeat steps in reverse.

OK so my 96 ranger 4.0 5 speed with 35's and I just put 4:88's in it now when i'm running down the highway at about 70 its saying something like 2800 RPMs give or take 150 (not sure how accurate factory tachs are) in 5th and at about 65 i'm doing something like 2500-2600 again give or take some.

   2002 Ford Ranger XLT V6 3.0 Was running great except in idle, no overheating after driving 60+ miles on the interstate. I put in new plugs and wires yesterday to fix the rough idling. My first job since buying this truck.

   I have a set of 4 OEM 5 spoke ranger wheels for sale. i Got new rims on my truck and dont have a use for these. They just came back from the powder-coating shop. They were blasted and baked. I tried to choose a color very close to stock. I think they look awesome but i cant keep everything. Tires have never been mounted on the new powder-coat.
