Desi Boyz is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film [3] directed by debutant Rohit Dhawan, son of director David Dhawan. The film stars Akshay Kumar , John Abraham , Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh [ 4 ] while Sanjay Dutt features in an extended cameo.

Dr. Irshad Kamil (born 5 September 1971) is an Indian poet and lyricist. [1] His songs appeared in Bollywood films including Jab We Met, Chameli, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar, Laila Majnu, Aashiqui 2, Raanjhanaa, Highway, Tamasha, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Kabir Singh, Dunki and Love Aaj Kal.
Baila music, as a form of folk art, has been popular for centuries in Sri Lanka. During the early 1960s, it entered into Sri Lanka's mainstream culture, primarily through the work of police officer turned singer Wally Bastiansz. He began adapting the 6/8 "kaffirhina" rhythms to accommodate Sinhala lyrics.
Karunaratne Abeysekera (3 June 1930 – 20 April 1983) was one of Sri Lanka's most famous Sinhala broadcasters. He was also a poet and songwriter and was widely admired for his excellent command of Sinhala. [2] Abeysekera wrote the lyrics to over 2,000 songs, a record for a lyricist in Sri Lanka.
The music was composed by Meet Bros, Jeet Gannguli and Ankit Tiwari while the background score was by Raju Singh. [5] Kumaar, Saurabh M Pandey, Rashmi Virag and Manoj Muntashir served as the lyricists.
