Road & Track (stylized as R&T) is an American automotive enthusiast magazine first published 1947. It is owned by Hearst Magazines and is published six times per year. The editorial offices are located in New York, New York .
Peter Egan is an American writer specializing in automotive and motorcycle journalism — widely known for his monthly car-related column, Side Glances, in Road & Track magazine as well as his monthly motorcycle-related column, Leanings, in Cycle World magazine — as well as road tests and occasional features in both magazines.
In 1966 Manney returned to the US from Europe, and continued his association with Road & Track. [13] For the magazine's April issues he began to contribute a series of road tests of "vehicles" such as a roller-coaster car, a pogo stick, and a motorized skateboard, which review included a picture of Manney in a full suit of medieval armor.
