Freddy Fender (born Baldemar Garza Huerta; June 4, 1937 – October 14, 2006) [1] was an American Tejano singer, known for his work as a solo artist and in the groups Los Super Seven and the Texas Tornados.
Regional Mexican singer Jenni Rivera recorded two versions (English and Spanish) for her eleventh studio album La Gran Señora, released on December 1, 2009. Clay Walker also recorded his version but along with Freddy Fender on his album Fall in 2007. Cantonese version of the song, called 流下眼淚前, performed by Hong Kong singer Paula Tsui.
