William Arthur Ward (December 17, 1921 – March 30, 1994) [1] was an American motivational writer. More than 100 articles, poems and meditations written by Ward were published in such magazines as Reader's Digest , The Phi Delta Kappan , Science of Mind , and various Christian publications.
William Arthur graduated from Belfast College, came to the United States, studied law for a short time, and was then called to the Baptist ministry. After preaching in Vermont and western New York, he was settled as pastor of the Calvary Baptist church of Albany, N. Y. , where he remained from 1855 to 1863.
